Prize Pools & Rewards
Rewards in Afyniti are designed to reflect ongoing participation, not financial return.
Rather than rewarding isolated actions, the platform tracks progression over time and uses that progression to determine eligibility and relative allocation during defined claim periods.
Participation does not guarantee a reward, and any rewards made available are dependent on activity, availability, and the rules of the specific ecosystem.
Ecosystem Prize Pools
Each city may have an associated ecosystem prize pool.
This pool is shared among participants in that ecosystem during a season. Eligibility and relative allocation are determined by progression achieved within that city during each claim period.
Prize pools are not savings accounts, investments, or yield products. They exist solely as a participation-based distribution mechanism within the platform.
Progress-Based Allocation
Eligibility for rewards is based on levels gained during a claim period, not on total XP held or any monetary contribution.
At the end of each claim period, progression achieved within that period is used to calculate proportional allocations among eligible participants. Progress achieved outside the period is carried forward and considered in future periods.
This structure is designed to reflect ongoing engagement rather than short-term activity.
Protocol-Specific Prize Pools
Some locations may also make available protocol-specific prize pools.
These pools are separate from ecosystem-level pools and are influenced only by progression earned through quests associated with that protocol. Eligibility is determined by participation in those quests.
Protocol-specific prize pools operate independently and are subject to the rules defined by the protocol providing them.
Claim Periods
Rewards, where available, are distributed during defined claim periods within a season.
Each claim period considers:
Levels gained during that period
Progression that has been claimed and recorded
Relative contribution compared to other eligible participants
Claiming progression is a required step. Progression that has not been claimed is not considered for allocation until it is finalised.
Carry-Forward and Continuity
Unallocated portions of an ecosystem prize pool may be carried forward into future seasons, subject to ecosystem-specific rules.
Progression itself is never reset. Only eligibility and allocation calculations operate on a periodic basis.
Carry-forward does not guarantee future availability of rewards.
What Rewards Represent
Rewards in Afyniti are not financial returns and should not be interpreted as income, yield, or profit.
They are optional distributions made available by ecosystems or protocols to recognise relative participation during defined periods. Rewards are not fixed, guaranteed, or promised.
Participation in Afyniti is not an investment activity.

This structure is intended to encourage consistent participation rather than short-term behaviour.
By tying eligibility to progression over time and defined periods, Afyniti avoids single-action outcomes and supports long-term engagement without implying financial expectation.
