Weavers

The mystics of the world, those who perceive and fold the Weave to glimpse hidden truths and align realities.

The Weavers are mystics who dedicate their lives to studying the hidden fabric beneath reality. Through meditation and ritual, they learn to quiet the senses and tune into the unprocessed data the firewall hides. In this state, they can glimpse the Weave, not as visible threads, but as resonances felt and perceived beyond normal awareness.

Where others see stability, Weavers sense patterns waiting to be realigned. Their gift is folding the weave, bending reality without tearing it, guiding outcomes toward favourable resonance. Unlike Patchrunners who break, or Shardwrights who sculpt, Weavers are the subtle hand, working between what is and what could be.

Weavers are revered not only for their insight but for their role as guides forgers of destiny for the hoods. Many Flowborn seek their wisdom when choosing their own path.

Mechanics

  • Folding the Weave: Align realities to create favorable outcomes or hidden shortcuts.

  • Meditative State: By stilling the senses, Weavers bypass the illusion and glimpse the deeper layer.

  • Guides of Transition: Flowborn often apprentice under Weavers to learn to perceive resonance before choosing their guild.

  • Risk: Folding too often in unstable zones may attract the firewall’s attention.

Cultural Notes

  • Proverb: “To see reality, close your eyes.”

  • Weavers often form close bonds with Shardwrights, combining vision and craft, one perceiving, the other shaping.

  • Spoken language between Weaver–Shardwright pairs is none; much is shared through resonance in the Weave.

Visual Notes

  • Attire is ceremonial yet simple, often black and gold to symbolise insight and discipline.

  • Hoods are tall, flowing, and lined with faint sigils visible only when folded.

  • Tools: resonance beads, harmonic staffs, meditation cloaks.

  • Eyes often glow faintly during meditative focus, reflecting unseen resonance.
